Loraine from Louisiana - Due to childhood abuse I was filled with a spirit of fear that controlled every area of my life. Sickness, both physical and emotional gripped me. I tried to loose myself  for years through Christian counseling, church activities, prayer, devotionals, and church attendance. All of these helped, but my health was still compromised. I suffered from acid reflux disease, severe allergies (so severe that I would go into Anaphylactic shock) Hyperthyroidism and depression for many years. 

    I first met Billy Burke on January 30, 2005 at Harvest Cathedral; A night I will never forget! The Lord prepared my heart in advance through my Pastor, Jules Bouquet, whose teachings gave me a new  understanding of the unconditional love of God, not only taught but also lived out by the congregation. In this safe environment hurting people can begin the journey back to the God of their youth; that is where miracles happen! As Billy’s service began, I felt like I was being lifted into a new level of worship I had never experienced before. It was like I was one with God and He was cleansing me. When I reached Billy Burke, I only remember saying I had been abused as a child and crying profusely. I could hear him say, "Most people would say she has not forgiven her abuser and that is why she is in pain, but she has!”
     At this point I felt a huge burden lifted off of me. The next thing I knew I was crying deeply but there was a peace unlike anything I had ever experienced. I was in the presence of God and he was holding me like you would a little child. He gently touched my face. Soon the crying was replaced with laughter, like a small child free to be all that God intended her to be.

Lung Cancer…..Totally Healed! 

The doctors told Linda on,  April 15th, 2002 that she had lung cancer. In, July of 2002, she attended a Billy Burke Miracle Healing Service at Christian Retreat in Minnesota. That night she was completely healed!

"I went to a Billy Burke healing service in Fort Meyers about a year-and-a-half ago. Billy said to put our hands on ourselves and ask the Lord to heal something specific. I asked God to heal my high cholesterol. I later joined a line of people up in the front of the church and Billy touched my head and I went down in the Spirit.  A few weeks after that I had a regular checkup and found that my cholesterol had dropped 80 points! It had always been between 325-350 for over 20 years, and although it was high I didn’t want to go on medicine, and diet and exercise didn’t help. Well, the reading this time was 270 and a couple of months later it went down to 265.. I believe it will go down even more!  Praise God!       What an eye-opener! We saw everything from deaf ears opening to people getting out of wheelchairs and walking!  We were overwhelmed to see the number of people committing their lives to Jesus Christ here in Lansing. 

           I learned a long time ago that ministry can be divided into two categories: authentic or synthetic. Authentic is God made - synthetic is man made.  Authentic is born of the Spirit of God.  Synthetic is born of the flesh.

                  Through all of the miracles and of all of the wonderful things that happened here, the most impressive  characteristic about Billy that I noticed was his tenderness, his kindness, his compassion toward people - like  I’ve never seen anybody reflect Jesus Christ quite like Billy Burke. 

          Here was a man who had been used of God to bring miracles to countless people and yet there was no sense of pride or competition at all, just a tender, humble, sweet spirited man who really cared about people! When Billy Burke was around - I felt like the presence of Jesus was right there!  Billy is a man who lives a surrendered life for the Master - Jesus!

                 I have learned this in 27 years of ministry-

 Before every breakthrough...

Before every victory...

Before every great harvest, something has to be surrendered.  Before the earth gives a harvest, a seed must be surrendered to the ground.

         When I saw not only the miracles, but the Godly character of Billy Burke, I asked our church leaders and then the congregation to surrender something - to plant a large seed ...

so we planted a large, significant, financial seed into Billy Burke’s life and ministries - and I am so glad we did!  

            Because even though Billy had to leave for other ministry assignments, the miracles continued here in Lansing! 

It was like an amazing kiss from God!
